Hello World,
So nice to see you again! All green, leafy, and springy. Sounds like a salad, huh? Good to see my lawn again after the Ficus tree decided to poop leaves all over it after the freeze.
Yes, it froze for a night or two and those nights wreaked havoc on my neighbor's ficus tree! This tree is HUGE and is on the border between our lots. It is now bald - tragically bald. And its leaves decided to fall all over my yard. I spent the better part of Saturday raking this tree's poopy leaves (yes, a stray cat considered this his litter box), hunching over, putting them in bags (20 bags total) and now I can see my lawn for the 1st time in weeks. Of course, now I am sore.....very, very sore from the backs of my legs up to my neck. And the point I'm trying to make is this: I HATE FICUS TREES! I wish a plague on this ficus in particular! How dare it decide to shed all over my yard and not in its own! And the neighbors you ask? Oh, they did their yard the day after and only had about 5 bags full. So not fair!
Ficus trees, I declare you my sworn yard enemy!
